    Cotto vs Mayweather sneak peek

What would floyd bring to the table that gives cotto problems or is something cotto has never seen?

What does Cotto bring to the table that gives floyd problems or something that floyd has never seen?

Based on those varibles, who would have the advantage?

Cotto is a sucker for a lead right hand

his chin is good , but still shaky ...

if shane would have kept his hands up, he would not have been hit as much as he was by cotto ...an old mosley basically had a draw with a prime miguel cotto ...

mayweather is too slick, too good of a counter puncher and damn , just too good all around to lose to cotto ... cotto hasnt showed is greatness yet...

      Cotto has seen speed...

but he hasn't seen effective speed, defense and accuracy..

Floyd has seen pressure...power...and slow punches

Lets jus say this would be a gd fight but mayweather would indeed win again and we will never see this fight since floyd is retiring.

Yea good post but that's not taking anything away from Cotto, it's just how great Mayweather is. I don't think Mayweather could hurt Cotto, even though Cotto's chin isn't the best but then again I said the same thing about Hatton.

No one can beat Mayweather...only time can beat him.

                obviously,he wouldn't make adjustments knowing he's fighting a fighter like floyd.he's a robot.

This is THEE matchup in the sport right now no question about it.

Cotto would obviously have trouble with Floyds fast hands and feet and Floyd would have trouble with Cotto's very underated jab and bone crushing power.

Very nice W for Floyd I did not think he would be able to stop Ricky but also lets not get too carried away.

Ricky if rated amongst the current stable of 147 pounders would not be ahead of Margarito, Cotto, Shane, Williams or Cintron in my mind (most peoples minds).

Floyd is the best in the sport right now thats for sure but I will feel like the fans have been cheated if Cotto vs. Floyd never materializes.

THEE fight in our sport and one I believe is a U pickem!

                    It would be boring because:

Cotto is too big ===> Mayweather does not WANT to go toe to toe
Cotto is too slow ===> Mayweather does not HAVE to go toe to toe
