My favorite Mayweather moment was in the pre-fight interview

My respect for the boy increased exponentially at that moment. He called Larry out, and Larry was indeed being a *****. "You just asked me the same question three times. In my line of work one shot can end your career." When are they going to get rid of that ****er (LM) anyway? He never asks the right questions.

Vers and I were discussing this in T & N last week. I was saying how Mayweather doesn't see himself as invincible, like his fans do. He knows all too well his Roy Jones moment can and will happen at anytime. Hence his magnificent preparation, defense, and caution.

I think theres a good chance he doesn't get Jones/Tarver twoed.lol. Mayweather seems to want to get out of the game while hes on top, thats smart. But he shouldn't leave just yet...

For example, Pele says to all soccer players: "never think you are good, that's a trap." In fighting though the stakes are higher, you think that and suddenly you won't be thinking anything. Even Mayweather I bet doesn't really think like this, he just says that for the camera. Deep down I bet he understands better than anybody that he can be KO'd at anytime. Hence he never relaxes his defense.

Definitly a good point, Merchent was terrible during the Hatton interview as well.
And Floyd definitly doesnt see himself as invincible, and thats not a bad thing, he knows what boxing can do to you, and wants to avoid the long term damage the sport has inflicted on so many great fighters.
