Floyd said he was going to stand in the middle and trade with Hatton and, for the most part, he did. That was impressive, finally having the conviction to back up his mouth, but what really makes me respect Floyd more as a person (and also a fighter in some ways) is the true class he showed after that fight. Nothing but praise and love for Ricky, even beckoning him over to give his side. I knew the bravado and arrogance was an act to some extent, but I am truly shocked to discover that it was pretty much all an act.

Floyd BEEN earned his respect, since back in the days YOU just started respecting him but it wasn't because he wasn't good enough it was because you let his mouth be the determining factor on how you felt about him, if he didn't talk so much **** you would never have doubted him, you wouldn't have liked him but you wouldn't have taken out so much time from your life to hate on him, now he does what as a percentage fighter he needed to do which is give Ricky his own medicine and clinch him before ricky could clinch Floyd and when the time was right knock him out, genious gameplan but in your own mind you felt **** him he talks too much **** and such and such never giving respect to his past performances, never looking at the fact that he does what he had to do to win.. he didn't FINALLY get respect, he BEEN had that YOU just FINALLY opened your eyes and saw him for the winner he is, a winner by any means necessary..

I always respected his abilities in the ring, and at no point said that he wasnt the best fighter on the planet, he was just an ******* and a dull fighter. He is now proven as not only DEFINITELY the P4P #1, but a great inside fighter and an all around decent bloke, despite all the **** he chats before a fight.

Yea it was hard for me for Hatton, he was all everyone would talk about over here and its very easy to get caught up in the hype, but i still managed to use my head, only just though lol.

and yea, Taylor does look more promising this time out.

If mayweather beats cotto and williams....and possibly just cotto...

It wont matter if the haters still have something to say....

because history will remember him as one of the best........

if he retires now he'll be up there but not as high as if he beats cotto and or williams...

after hatton some people are coming around and recognizing him even those who were once haters..

now after cotto and williams someone new will emerge...

but history wont regard that because eventually mayweather has to retire..and cant fight forver...
