    If Floyd is taking a confirmed vacation, then how long...

    will it take them to revise the p4p list, since certainly an inactive fighter can't be #1?

    good point. It's hard to take him out though, since everybody knows that he will fight again.

      Similar to how the WBC let him keep his WW championship after he declared retirement after DLH, maybe. I'd guess that they'd wait a few months and if no word, they'd knock him down a notch ever so often until he's out of the top ten and considered "inactive". Just guessing though.. I have no experience with that and don't remember the last time someone retired at the top of the rankings.

        Not very long at all. If he doesn't fight in 2008, then Calz takes the top spot. but if Calz retires, then it's up in the air.
