It looks as though a few of the guys backing hatton so vehemently before the fight have gone missing.... however im willing to eat some humble pie. I knew floyd was gonna be rickys toughest test by far but i genuinely believed ricky had the style to give floyd fits. From rounds 1 to 3 i remained hopeful of ricky doing the impossible but cortez was definitely getting far too involved and not allowing the action to flow. how much of a difference this made we'll never know. Floyd adjusted well though and started landing some great shots, the amount of space he needs to get his shots off is incredible and his quickness of hand is something to behold. The knockout itself was textbook. I never thought floyd would or could stop ricky especially with head shots. Anyways i congratulate floyd on a very good performance and hope he gets it on with cotto where i see a similar fight unfolding
