So Much For Giving Floyd His Respect!

That lasted all about 24hrs guys and maybe not even that. Right after the fight all the haters saw the light and finally started giving Floyd props and said that they cant take nothing from him and he is the best out right now. Now just a day later Floyd is back to being garbage, back to being ripped up in every thread, he still cheated to win, and now Hatton was a overrated bum so the win doesnt count.

This is why Floyd wants to leave boxing. He can do no right and he will always have the haters. Sad though, he just KO a undefeated P4P guy who everyone said would give him hell and now just a day later Floyd seems to be respected even less then he was before the fight. Man that is sad. Some people need to grow up. You guys are what Floyd is talking about. You just want him to fight until he loses and you wont be satisfied until that happeneds. Too bad that he wont give you that satisfaction. He's not going to be dumb enough to stay around until his skills are diminshed, he's a shell of his former self, and he gets beat by someone who shouldnt even be in the ring with him.

The fans started it but some press are also starting to do it and soon they all will do it. All the media guys who were ripping Floyd, gave him mad props after the fight but watch how it starts to change back to normal. The sad thing is on this board its actually getting worst because now there even madder because he won and even moreso because he won by KO. They hate him with a passion and with a vengance and they wont stop until they see him go down

There are a lot of idiots out there but don't label all Hatton fans the same.

I haven't lost respect for Mayweather far from it.

While I had some discrepencies with the Ref it no way would have changed the eventual outcome of the fight. Ricky Hatton like everyone else was out of his depth against the best fighter in the world and not in his natural weight division and still according to Mayweather is the toughest competitor he has ever met.

Hatton still is a great fighter but Mayweather is a once in a life time fighter.

The UK fans respect for Mayweather has only increased. Less so, for boxing officiators.

I had respect for mayweather before the hatton fight but after it he gained so much more of my respect he was gracious in his victory he gave proper praise to hatton and was very classy during the end of the fight.

he has gained some favor in my eyes now, and i hated the guy BIG TIME. he needs to continue the climb cause he is in no way done, that's the point i think most people want to get out. he needs to finish what he started in his climb to greatness. if he can beat cotto, mosely, williams, and a couple others then he will be the greatest, and noone can doubt him

I've always respected Mayweather for his boxing abilities and it's obvious he acts the bad guy to promote the fight.

After the fight you can tell by him giving Hatton his respect that Mayweather is a good guy and deserves respect.
