Mosley always leaves himself wide open and makes alot of mistakes, closes his eyes when he goes for alot of his power shots and doesnt really have much of a jab, mosley is an outstanding fighter, but he makes alot of mistakes, Cotto capitolized and did a great job, however...mayweather doesnt make those mistakes, not to mention, as well as cotto adapts, mayweather seems like he has about 10 gameplans for someones 2.

either way, this fight may or may not ever happen, it doesnt make much of a difference to me.

i know you're on a mayweather high,bu to say he's got 10 gameplans to someones two is silly.he's never had to over come adversity like cotto has,HE can adapt better than floyd, and you know it.

im not on a mayweather high at all, but you have to understand that mayweather doesnt exactly come out the same in every fight. he gives you several different looks, weather hes moving laterally, standing in his defensive shell, or putting his hands in front of his face, he gives you alot of different looks.

put it to you this way, if mayweather didint have several gameplans, he wouldnt have made it out of that judah fight with his head on straight, nor the jesus chavez fight. mayweather adjusts quickly to people no matter the gameplan.

If you think Cotto adapts better than floyd, then essentially youre saying that cotto could move to 168, 5 divisions above 140, and etch out gameplans against supermiddleweights, or 160 and get a gameplan going for say, Pavlik. because thats basically what youre implying.

Dude, MayWeather is the best P4P out there, we all know. We all know he started at 130lbs. That was long ago, he won't be back to that weight. But TODAY, not 2 years ago, TODAY, NOW at 147lbs... Cotto has a real shot at beating MayWeather. Some may arguably say MayWeather may be the underdog for the fight. In order for mayWeather to have a REAL LEGACY, he must beat Cotto or Paul Williams. Hatton and Baldomir is not enough.

Both statements could actually happen, but highly unlikely.

I think he meant to adapt for a fight and a style, not adapt move in weight. Cotto should not move over 154lbs. He will become a slow chubby MoFo.

i still think regardless saying that cotto's boxing mind is superior to mayweather is a long stretch. like i said, with mayweather any weakness you have, every single time someone has the slightest bit wrong with them, its always the same result, that weakness is exploited and after about 4 or 5 rounds a beating commences. im not saying mayweather would give cotto a beating, it would be a good fight, but i dont see cotto winning because after all these years of consistency, its hard to pick against mayweather in that respect.

Ok, I could agree with you. We both agree that at 147 pounds this is going to be a hell of a fight, best man standing. We cool...
