well done to both. i can't believe some say it only has the sales cuz of mayweather. would mayweather get 1.5 buys if he was boxing his shadow? no?. i think 24/7 and the uk vs usa theme did well.

the fight itself was okay too.

            That's right. It takes two.

Floyd's appearance on DWTS, his fight and subsequent victory with Oscar, and the two 24/7 shows did a lot for Floyd.

Hatton gained some new US fans from the 24/7 show.

Floyd gained many more new fans from the shows to garner even more sales.

So, Floyd, of course, couldn't do it alone, but he was the major draw.

              :

Floyd has found a whole lot more uk fans I reckon
where as Americans don't really like him, most of the peeps I know found him quite funny

                  No doubt.

Perhaps, his US fans aren't as vocal and supportive as the UK fans are with their athletes, but he does have plenty of support.

And like he stated many times: "controversy sells".

So that's another factor to consider.

you never know fella, in a few years if floyd has been beaten Ricky might get the chance to avenge his defeat over here in a big **** off stadium with a quality atmosphere
