the way the american anthem was boo'ed and the way some reffer to americans as "yanks" is just down right disrespectfull and you make yourselfs seem very ignorant.

im from the UK myself, scotland to be precise and the behaviour of our travelling fans and most of you guys on this board makes me sick.

well done pbf last night, i felt sick for ricky after the fight because he was out classed by the best fighter in history IMHO, a bit of a **** head but none the less he's easily the best.

i think thats why this forum has such a laughable rep among the others, it has the fanbase but a few rotten eggs spoil the bunch.

I dont think 'Yank' is an offensive term at all. Im not sure if there are any Americans that think its offensive.

I was a little annoyed about our National Anthem getting booed. Its ok to have some fun with competitiveness between two nations and all, but I wasn't very happy about that, no one was booing the British national anthem. I was rooting for Hatton right until about that point, and Im happy that Floyd was a nice guy at the end of the night.

but supposedly tons of the British fans were wasted leading up to this fight, so Ill give them the benefit of the doubt. Besides, it would be unfair to judge all British people just by a few worked up fans, and Im not going to be sensitive about a little thing like this. I dont really like Hatton fans though, I admire their dedication and everything, but truth be told they were starting to get on my nerves. Hatton's nerves, too.

English people love America, the place, the culture and the people. Yes, they get patriotic when supporting their own but thats just sport, lets not get it confused with real life.
