It's simply the fight that needs to happen. There is no easy tell on who is going to win, but i got to backup my boy Miguelito. Let me say it once again, There are two fighters that will give hell to Mayweather, Cotto and Paul Williams.

This post is Ridiculous, Hatton won only 1 round, 2 at most and both of them were close rounds. Official Judges, Teddy Atlas scoring Ringside, Dan Rafael from ESPN all had Mayweather winning 89-81 or 88-82

They said the same **** when they picked Mosely to beat Cotto.

If Floyd v. Cotto happens, I'm picking Cotto to win again.

But, isn't this useless? Floyd retired......as I understand it.

              cotto impressed me against mosly.
              a cotto/floyd would be intrigueing.
but i think the bigger welters like williams, cintron,
margarito would be more dangerous for floyd.

Floyd Mayweather can be an explosive, blindingly fast offensive machine when he gets pressed as we all found out again last night. For Cotto to have a shot he would have to go to the body hard in a sustained effort from the first moment onward, and he would have to survive a ******* of counter assaults.. I would give Cotto very little chance to beat Mayweather.
this man speaks the truth, like I said in other threads FMJ beats Cotto as well perhaps easier than he did Hatton because Cotto will not pressure FMJ as much. Floyd would rather win on scorecards then win by knockout because opening it up offensively leaves you open for shots. Floyd by dec. against Cotto unless Cotto tries to get brave and go after FMJ in which the end result will be KO. Let's remember Cotto achilles heel is his questionable jaw.

The fighter that will give Floyd the most trouble is, drumroll, Paul the Pterodactyl(sp) Williams. Four things in PW favor( in relation to FMJ):his height, ridiculous wingspan/reach, his workrate and most importantly he is a southpaw. Anyone who knows boxing knows that southpaws give Floyd the most trouble. He must be avoided at all costs.

please cotto would pressure Floyd and actually connect to the body and NOT just maul and grab..like one of the commentators said last nght. Hatton was using ENEFFECTIVE agrression. coming in, mauling SMOTHERING his punches and not landing any real clean shots..

I think Floyd would beat Mosley....
