If i was floyd, i wouldnt even give a ****, basically having settled a vendetta from 140lbs, honestly i wouldnt give a **** what cotto says. as good as cotto is, as much as i respect his boxing ability, his underrated ability to adapt and jab. as long as he is available to those right hands/right hand leads, thats his ass, im sorry. Nobody with a vunerability that is easily seen and exposed has ever beaten mayweather. this is a guy who started at ****ing 130, in many ways im in awe hes made it this far.
although he be talking that bull**** about being the best ever, the man has beaten every single undisputed champion available to him from 130 to 147, with Oscar being probably the best 154lber available especially at that time.
If cotto fights mayweather thats great, but if mayweather just retires and ducks him, honestly, i wouldnt give a ****, yall may say "damn why you cosigining something like that?"
because to be honest, i dont think mayweather has that much more to prove to himself, he has alot to prove to fans, media etc, but to himself, thats probably how he looks at it, every single undisputed champion hes ever faced he beat, and the one time people thought he struggled with someone like castillo, he beat him in the 2nd match to prove a point.
As a fan at some point, i ask myself when enough is enough, because even before the hatton/mayweather fight even took place, there was somoene else in place to say mayweather was ducking, at this point, mayweather always seems to be ducking everyone, so i aint even trippin that hard anymore over this fight (cotto).Comment

I used to think the same way, but he just keeps on winning. No matter what The Cotto Haters say, Mosley came to fight and brought the best he could put up for the fight. Mosley had a great fight, some saw it as a draw.
Another year waiting would hurt Mosley chances agaisnt Floyd, but if the fight happened before ODLH, he had a real chance to beat Floyd straight up, no doubts.
I do respect Cotto's list and his ways to victory. I jumped in the wagon when he owned Zab Judah. Last 5 fights are pretty inpressive.
Mosley by UD
Judah by TKO
Urkal by TKO
Quintana by KO
Malignaggi by UD
I believe Cotto was not prepared to face Floyd 2-3 years ago. Now, he has shown he can adapt and assimilate a fight and a fighter so well. Plus his jab and his power. Is going to be a tough fight for Cotto but Miguel wins by KO.Comment

Dude, a win agaisnt Cotto will shut the **** out of so many people... Floyd must make it happen in order to shut all the doubters including myself and truely call himself as great as the greatest ever...
In my humble opinion. If Floyd Maywether beats Miguel Cotto and/or Paul Williams, it becomes almost a bow your head kind of thing. Until then, if he truely retires, he will keep an "asterisk" on his record.
Any way, like to read a different point of view with some sense on it. good post.Comment

Were you the ******* who said he will be looking for me to make fun of me first when Cotto loses the fight, if he ever???
If not, let me check that
first, but if he doesn't speak up, i will get back to you...

Comment
