First i want to say i have alot of respect for hatton for fighting his heart out and taking the loss like a man. He was just over matched in every aspect of the fight.

Now if the corner post wasn't there which i think was a good thing it was because he would have either A. fallen throw the ropes and maybe onto press row or B. he would have fell face first on the canvas if it was in the middle of the ring which would have been just as embarrasing if not more. I kinda feel bad for hatton but oh well thats part of fighting! would like to see him fight again maybe not at welter though that result can very easily happen again that is two fights where has tested this weight class and in both fights he clearly showed he can't handle the power there. stay at 140

Yeah that corner post was a mother $%#&er, you had all of Ricky's momentum running at Floyd while throwing a bomb, combined with Floyd's killer left hook on the button to equal a nasty face first plant into the turnbuckle. How the hell he gets up from that I don't know.

Shane's like "damn, ima have to charge him for that corner pad". If it wasn't for the pad, Hatton would have went between the turnbuckles and straight into the outside ring post, that would have been the ****. That knockdown was funny as ****. I think Floyd and everyone were so nice to Hatton because they felt sorry and embarassed for the way he spearheaded that corner pad, **** was funny man.
