Like I already said, the way some Floyd fans reacted this weekend, you'd swear Hatton was a villain. You'd think Floyd was fighting Mayorga by the reaction from everyone here to the knockdown.

It does show though, that there is a certain personality (Hatton type) that only some fans can accept. Is it the MTV and Flashy lifestyle culture that's brainwashing the masses?

Yeah I think Hatton would have continued from just the left hook but he hit that turnbuckle hard, and you saw his spine compact on impact. The stunning thing was that he got up from it!

The knockdown finished Ricky. Ricky was taking too many punches and that one was the finisher. If Ricky got back up he would have just got busted up even more.

I have never seen someone smash in full pelt into a turnbuckle face first in a boxing match, It's a miracle he got up. If it was just the hook he might have seen the fight out and what lost 11 rounds to 1 on the scorecards.
