The fact is that there is a reason it took Hatton nearly 40 handpicked fights of waiting and waiting for the perfect opportunity to fight a world champion for a title. That opportunity came when Kostya Tszyu was old, coming off major injuries, and they were able to secure the fight on Hatton's home turf. The handpicking continued after Hatton beat Tszyu as he handpicked the worst titleholders he could find such as Maussa (probably the worst titleholder ever at 140), Collazo (worst of the 147 champions and a fringe contender at best who was dominated by Mosley), and Urango (still an untested prospect and the worst titleholder at 140 when Hatton fought him).

Hatton's team is smart for protecting him for so long and milking his fans until they got a huge payday. Now that Hatton has been exposed he can either retire or continue his losing ways whenever he fights a decent fighter. The guy was a flat out overrated, overhyped British bum like every other British fighter in boxing history.

We are done exposing one British bum. Bring on Joke Calzaghe and old ass Bernard Hopkins will take his zero too if he has the balls to leave the UK for a real challenge.

SO let's see..ONE British Fighter ..loses to the "BEST Fighter P4P in the World"

And You deduce that the whole Nation Sucks becasue of it???

The USA Lost to North Vietnam... Does That loss take away all the Wins Too??

That's only because the referee kept breaking up the action whenever the US got in range. And the viet cong kept pushing off with their elbows.

You're really sounding pathetic. To say that Hatton lost because he wasn't allowed to hold and hit is a diss to him. You're basically saying that he's 1-dimensional. As if he couldn't have possibly won without doing something which is usually frowned upon anyway.

Oh, and I'll keep saying it-- watch Castillo-Hatton. There are CONSTANT breaks in the clinching.

I was making a joke. I didn't really think that there was a referee in the Vietnam war, or that the Viet Cong used their elbows illegally. Deary me, I should get myself a laugh track.

You know what I was referring too, but it's cool- we both know I had you stumped.

Dancing around the issue, eh..? Too bad your boy didn't know how to do the same.

Disaprove of the slating BHop, even in jest, but Joke Calzaghe is the wittiest play on words in ages on BS.

The fight was competitive for six rounds until the point deduction and Hatton stopped feinting his way inside and got picked apart. You want to revise the facts because you're not self secure enough to accept things as they happened, well that's up to you. I know what Ricky did right and what he did wrong, as do you.

So basically the fight was competitive until Floyd picked him apart.

I love these glossed over comments: "Oscar mysteriously put the jab away. WTF?" Similair to: "Ricky stopped feinting his way in."

As if they CHOSE to stop doing what made them have a chance.

Ricky seemed to lose his cool after the point deduction. It isn't really going out on a limb to say that Floyd started landing his best punches in the seventh onwards, at the same time Hatton stopped feinting and moving his head, and that this coincided with a point deduction in debatable circumstances.
