That's only because the referee kept breaking up the action whenever the US got in range. And the viet cong kept pushing off with their elbows.Comment

You're really sounding pathetic. To say that Hatton lost because he wasn't allowed to hold and hit is a diss to him. You're basically saying that he's 1-dimensional. As if he couldn't have possibly won without doing something which is usually frowned upon anyway.
Oh, and I'll keep saying it-- watch Castillo-Hatton. There are CONSTANT breaks in the clinching.Comment

I was making a joke. I didn't really think that there was a referee in the Vietnam war, or that the Viet Cong used their elbows illegally. Deary me, I should get myself a laugh track. You're really sounding pathetic. To say that Hatton lost because he wasn't allowed to hold and hit is a diss to him. You know what I was referring too, but it's cool- we both know I had you stumped.
Dancing around the issue, eh..? Too bad your boy didn't know how to do the same.Comment

Disaprove of the slating BHop, even in jest, but Joke Calzaghe is the wittiest play on words in ages on BS.

The fight was competitive for six rounds until the point deduction and Hatton stopped feinting his way inside and got picked apart. You want to revise the facts because you're not self secure enough to accept things as they happened, well that's up to you. I know what Ricky did right and what he did wrong, as do you.Comment

So basically the fight was competitive until Floyd picked him apart. The fight was competitive for six rounds until the point deduction and Hatton stopped feinting his way inside and got picked apart. I love these glossed over comments: "Oscar mysteriously put the jab away. WTF?" Similair to: "Ricky stopped feinting his way in."
As if they CHOSE to stop doing what made them have a chance.Comment

Ricky seemed to lose his cool after the point deduction. It isn't really going out on a limb to say that Floyd started landing his best punches in the seventh onwards, at the same time Hatton stopped feinting and moving his head, and that this coincided with a point deduction in debatable circumstances.Comment
