He wasnt saying that Floyd would defeat Hatton in a long and tough contest. He said that a). Hatton would NEVER fight Floyd. b). It would not be a competetive affair. c). Floyd would KILL Hatton.
I was more right than him in predicting that Hatton would win.
Floyd did dominate, though. Winning more than half of the rounds, and then knocking your opponent out is pretty decisive.
Hatton gave Mayweather problems. The fact that Mayweather himself admitted this
I havent seen the whole fight yet, im wating for the HBO version to come out 1st on youtube, ive seen a few of the rounds and it didnt look that way, but i see your point, all im saying is that when it came down to it, in the midst of severe opposition, he called the fight correctly about 2 years before it even happened.

The point is that $in's prediction was obstinately and repeatedly that Hatton would not EVER, NEVER, NO WAY sign to fight Floyd Mayweather. So any prediction he made beyond that one being wrong is fairly meaningless.
He was right, he was saying this would happen around 2 years ago, maybe more.
so was I. I said in 2005 when Ricky turned the fight down he couldn't hang with Mayweather. when they actually fought instead of letting Hatton hug, it was over within 2 and a half rounds (rounds 8-10)
