That's just the type of fighter the ring post is. He waits there, in the corner the whole match, doing nothing actually. Then just when you think it's safe, WHAM the ****er comes out of nowhere.

He's the type of guy who has 1 punch KO power, he threw one punch last night against Hatton, 1 punch in 10 rounds. Sadly, that one punch was enough to end Hatton's career............Mayweather helped a little bit too, but we all know the ringpost possesses the true punching power.

The ring post is at 168 so it had stamina problems(that's why he wasn't active) against hatton who was 145... but he caught him and it was over.

I think the ring post had a lot to do with why Hatton was knocked out, but to be honest, it was gonna happen sooner or later in that round.

It's well noted that the ringpost didn't have his usual movement last night, he felt heavy for some reason so he just waited for his opportunity. That opportunity came when Mayweather landed the left hook........Look closely at the video, watch right after Mayweather lands the left hook, you can see if you look closely, the ringpost pushes Mayweather out of the way, and takes his best shot!

I heard Hatton is fighting either a broom or a stool next year.

I'm concerned about the longevity of the ring post. I hear the ring post blows up between fights to the size of a traffic bollard, all this ballooning and draining is bound to have an effect sooner or later.
