WHat do you think of MAYWEATHER COTTO now???

I think in this Hatton fight, Hatton squashed his own punches, didnt leave himself any room. Dont get me wrong, if he had let some space between them it would have probably ended sooner.

BUT, Cotto is MUCH better technically then Hatton is or ever was.

And, the thing that seems to give Mayweather trouble in every fight, is a good stiff jab. Cotto definetly has that, and he has a great body attack.

I think this is a 50-50 fight guys. Maybe 55-45 for Mayweather, but REAL close fight.

What are ur thoughts on the fight now???

Id Pick Mayweather in a very close and unbelievable exciting 12 rounds decision.

the key for cotto is the jab,he need to catch floyd,in essence, dare i say it,counter floyd,if floyd has an achilles heel it's the jab i think its well established that cotto has a good one.if he try to pummel mayweather he will lose,he needs to fight a boring fight basically.

I think Mayweather would revert back to the style he beat Baldomir and Oscar with, and easily outpoint Cotto, in a relatively uneventful fight. With Cotto landing next to nothing.

nothing Cotto does is boring. If he boxes, he lets his hands go and still fights.

When he boxes he's limits himself to only a few punches.

And Mayweather can fight as well.

This is a really unbelievable styles matchup

I'd probably go with Cotto in a toss up...not absolutely sure yet. Unfortunately, the odds are that this fight will never be made.

Floyd by WIDE UD. He would adapt to Miguel's style and the speed difference would cause fits for Miguel.

Cotto beat Mosely. He can beat Floyd. The issue is whether this fight will ever be made.

Thats not how Mayweather fights though. not at all.

DLH and Baldomire were significantly bigger fighters then floyd, and he would have been outmuscled on the inside.

Cotto cuts off the ring great, he is a VERY accurate body puncher.

Floyds defense is excellent but he can do little to avoid Cottos body shots.

This fight is garunteed to be a war, 100% garunteed. Anyone who says what u just said is underestimating Cottos ability to drag a fighter into a war.
