There's money to be made. The bad guy is generally more attractive. He plays the role.

I think he genuinely likes Ricky, unlike his bout with Oscar. He stated he just felt Oscar was a fake. Not genuine and I believe the disdain was genuine.


With Ricky, it was just business. AND, Ricky gave Floyd a serious fight. Floyd had to put in work and it was awesome to watch. How could he not respect Ricky after their fight? Not possible.
