    Floyd took some serious shots

Fellas, Floyd took some serious shots from a great champion.

    Dont kid yourself.

He showed why he's the 2nd best fighter since the fab 4 and the best fighter certanily of this generation.

Hatton gave it his all and applied a ton of pressure, which flustered Floyd at first.

He really didn't connect up close as much as I was expecting, Floyd really did a great job nullifying him on the inside (and at the beginning, the ref helped a little with that too).

Floyd has already proven himself to be the best fighter right now, and his win against Ricky cements that position. The question of his position all-time is still open but that's only right, that's only as it should be. Could we be seeing the best fighter ever? I'm not willing to say until he's retired for good.

The guy you thought would dominate Floyd?

Put your excuses on shutdown. Hatton came in where he felt best. He said that Floyd would "get eaten".

He is the complete fighter, great chin, knockout power, terrific speed, perfect defence, extremely promotable, great foot speed and an awesome work ethic.

Hatton wasn't fat at all, this was a good weight for him. Guys in the heavyweight division beat guys naturally larger than them all the time. Hatton got beat by a better fighter period.
