    Rick Hatton. Facts.

Ricky Hatton is a Light Welterweight and was naturally smaller than Floyd. You can say Floyd fought at Super Featherweight all you want but remember so did De La Hoya and it didn't stop him fighting at Middleweight. Hatton was against the P4P number 1 while fighting at a higher weight class than he was used to... He was always going to lose this fight and It didn't help Ricky that Floyd had another masterclass performance and the ref was a complete wanker. Hatton is still world class but we know now (If there was any doubt before) he is not a Welterweight. Anyone who says because Hatton lost this he is now a bum does not know a thing about boxing, that's the truth.

Floyd, your the best Welterweight there is out there so now it's time for you to prove it and fight Cotto.

He's not a bum, far from it.

But you can't use weight as an excuse when he was asking for this fight, and goaded Mayweather until he got it.

He made his bed, now he has to sleep in it.

I 100% gurantee you that even though Hatton lost this fight with the purse he got from it he is glad he took it.

Well ****, I'd hug Floyd Mayweather for 10 rounds and nose dive into the corner post for a few million dollars. Doubt I'd regret it later, either.

If Floyd lost seven pounds the fight probably has the same outcome. Hatton is still Lineal Champion at 140 and needs to go back to fight Witter and Paulie M.

Avoid Witter for now, beat Malignaggi for confidence then beat Witter. Witter can fight Torres in the mean time.

I like Hatton but I'm getting really tired of hearing excuses.

He got beat, accept it and move on. The weight issue is irrelevent when you considering all the weights that PBF has fought at. There is no dishonour in losing to a P4P #1.

Your obvious excuse is pretty lame. Face it, you thought Hatton was going to beat his ass and he got owned. PBF is the best, not only did he beat Hatton but he knocked him out. Floyd dont have to prove **** to nobody. Hatton had one a good resume and was a champion with power. I agree with Floyd don't let boxing retire you, leave in victory. He has accomplished alot in the sport and leaving undefeated and the best P4P is the way to go. Hatton got owned!!
