    Fighter/Fight of the Year?

For fight I think I might go for one of the Moby fights, possibly Moby vs. Taylor.

It seems a shame that Moby won't get to be fighter of the year, but I guess Floyd has probably got that sewn up.

i dont think it should be Floyd at all.

I think its Pavlik. Pavlik knocked out Zertuche, knocked out Miranda, and Knocked out Taylor. 2 out of those 3 he was the underdog, and against Miranda hardly anyone thought he was going to survive.

On the other hand, Mayweather was nearly a 2-1 favorite against DLH, and a 3-1 favorite against Hatton. Both he clearly won, and he beat Hatton impressively.

I think its between Pavlik and Cotto. Mayweathers close, but he shouldnt and wont win it

Floyd will probably get it for being first fighter to have two consecutive fights selling over 1 million PPV's.

Kball your normally a good poster but i dont agree with u at all
DLH/HATTON > MIRANDA/TAYLOR,DLH and Hatton are polished fighters,Miranda and Taylor are not so good technique-wise,Pavlik had a better chance to beat Miranda & Taylor then Floyd did moving up in weight fighting DLH,and fighting a undefeated fast clever pressure fighter in Hatton,Floyd brutaly knocked out Hatton, his fight with DLH is the biggest in boxing history, hes the face of boxing

How could it be between Pavlik and COTTO? Floyds had a better year then Cotto, its between Pavlik & Floyd, and i pick Floyd, its a hard one to choose tho, because Pavlik finished his fights with brutal KOs

I wouldn't be mad if Pavlik(because he beat a champion Taylor, Miranda was overrated) won it but my vote is Floyd of course.

I think Taylor was a more difficult fight then BOTH DLH AND Hatton. Taylor is on another level then those guys and Mayweather showed that. DLH is waaaay past his best days even though he did put up a fight, and Hatton, clearly wasnt on the level of either Miranda or Taylor.

SO i think Pavlik 100% definetly deserves it over Mayweather. no doubt about it in my mind, but to each his own

Fight of the years should either go to pavlik v. taylor, marquez v. vasquez or hatton v. mayweather all of these fights were great and all ment a whole lot.
