    Can Ricky come back down

We all know how Ricky balloons up between fights, and if he as is expected takes a bit of a break, will he balloon up to much and struggle to get back down to his prefered weight. The older a fighter gets the harder it becomes to boil down to fight weight

but will he find it harder now, and will a longer layoff make it harder for him

Agree. Hatton should return to 140 with no problem. Besides, what other choices does he have? He can either continue to fight at 147 where he has very little chance or retire.

He'll come back and beat the face of Mallinaggi soon. The ref stitched him up in this one.

I dont think he'll have too long a lay off, he trains hard and intensely so I think he'll get the weight off ok.

He'll have no problem making 140 as he didn't have a problem making it after the Collazo fight for Urango.

However, if he faces Malignaggi, he'll lose again. He had only won 1 round on two scorecards. Paulie can box and fight on the inside, too. Hatton would lose a close decision to Paulie.

Those scorecards were absolutely bogus and you know it.

Hatton needs to fall back, take on another guy at 140. Maybe Paulie or Demetrius Hopkins. But stay away from Floyd, Paul Williams, or any other top guy at 147.
