as much of a fan as khan is, i dont like the way people are hyping him up. im a big fan of him and even have a picture of him in my wallet but i mean dont hype him up. when he was getting roasted for liamonds fight it made him work harder to improve. lets keep him under pressure!Comment

I'm not hyping Khan up, hes good but Limond exposed him, I'm just saying how I think his career will pan out.His first world strap will be a lesser one.as much of a fan as khan is, i dont like the way people are hyping him up. im a big fan of him and even have a picture of him in my wallet but i mean dont hype him up. when he was getting roasted for liamonds fight it made him work harder to improve. lets keep him under pressure!Comment

A very good point. The Limond fight was actually just what he needed, he was in danger of believing his own hype. Since then he's knuckled down and improved a lot.as much of a fan as khan is, i dont like the way people are hyping him up. im a big fan of him and even have a picture of him in my wallet but i mean dont hype him up. when he was getting roasted for liamonds fight it made him work harder to improve. lets keep him under pressure!
I guess the price of that knockdown is that everyone will call him chinny from now on. I still think he has awesome potential...Comment

Khans been under pressure since before he turned pro! remember he had all that media attention in the olympics 4 years ago when he was only 17 and it hasnt stopped since.. if thats not pressure, what is? But i do understand what your saying I think: make sure he remains humble and grounded otherwise he might have a rude awakening when he finally hits America. But I sense Khan isn't a massive ego at all.. I think that Limond knockdown was quite humbling for him, and it might have happened at just the right time to keep Khan thinking realistically. I think he's confident but he needs that in order to be a champion.. at the same time he respects his opponents, the audience and most of all his team, which is a good formula for success. Khan might just be the next big thing, but only time will tell.
The Earl performance was disappointing from a competitive point of view.. If anything it was Earl who was the over-hyped pugilist in this bout and Khan exposed him as basically a mismatched opponent. Well Thaxton awaits, Khans last (and hopefully most challenging) national test.. From that point, assuming he's victorious, which I believe he will be, Khan goes international.Comment

I think the Thaxton fight will be a far better challenge for Khan. You are right, Earl was seriously over hyped for this, he's obviously damaged goods since the Katsidis fight.Comment
