    Has Money May's Power Improved???

Is it just me or did it seem like "Money" had far more pop on his punches than he had at his last few Welterweight fights? Even his jab looked very strong last night. Has he finally carried his power to his current weight class?

well mayweather was alot bigger then hatton and hatton is easy to hurt but i think when hatton hit his head on the corner that might have contributed to dazing him.

It also helps when Ricky runs full tilt in to his punch.

The power has always been there, but you can't really show your power against huge guys like DLH and Baldy, so people assumed that he was weak.

No he just decided to sit more on his punches and show that he could punch. It was always there he just chose a strategy in which it would be more relevant to victory.

He has good power and Hatton is not the hardest guy to hit, one of those punches were bound to hurt him. Hatton running straight into the punch was a big factor as well. I wonder if the turnbuckle could've made it worse.

You also have to remember he fought Baldomir with everlast gloves and broke his hand. I'll never forger his pink Breast Cancer Awareness gloves, a very thoughtful and humanitarian gesture but a bad move for his brittle hands.
