It's pretty amazing actually. it's in the same spot, same check left hook, and it stuns hatton and then the onslaught in round 8 continues with devasting body shots and straights.

YES! I didn't catch it while watching live but I saw the fight again today and had this "revelation" right after I saw the punch.. he was trying to set him up for the same exact punch various times in the fight and it's absolutely brilliant how you can see it coming 5 seconds before the first knockdown punch!

Floyd landed that counter left hook many times and also missed it a bunch of times. You can replay the fight and see that it must've been something they saw and thought they could take advantage of.

You can even see from the way Hatton works Graham's body bag that he lunges in with his left hook a whole lot.

Was anyone else thinking of Darchinyan-Donoire when they saw the KD?

Floyd was very good at times, but he did use spoiler tactics

He was landing it a couple times before and saw it was working.

What exactly is a "check hook"? I've never heard that term used before.

Honestly, I thought it would be the right hand that changed the fight in the 8th round, and it dd to a certain degree. Nonetheless, he figured out a very good fighter. Pretty entertaining fight.
