its no secret that since ive been here (nov05) ive said that hatton beats mayweather , in 2005 and at 140 this might of been the case , but last night it was a whole different ball game. floyd looked a beast compared to hatton and after the 1st round i said to everyone wo ive been telling forever that hatton loses. it was met by a fair few ppl telling me to **** off and put my money where my mouth is i bet a few ppl. come the 2nd 3rd and 4th i was thinking ****ing hell this is more like it and was begening to wonder wether i was wrong to doubt hatton which is somut ive never done in my life , then come the 6th and floyd started taking over the fight and cortez took the point away but going into the 7th i still had hatton 1 up. what surprised me is that after the 6th billy graham asked hatton to be honest and said are you winning? ricky said no and my heart thudded because thats when i realised hatton now knew he couldnt win. now the 8th was here and mayweather was going through the gears a bit more and hatton looking like a clapt out ford cortina was getting tired and had a look of a beaten man on hes face. in the 9th it was much of the same but not once did i think floyd can stop him never mind ko him but then came the round and with just under a minute and half gone floyd hit him with the "check hook" wich was treble the force has hatton was rushing into it whilst floyd threw it (impact speed) but ricky went face face into the corner pads ricky lying on the floor i started to hold back the tears and knew in my heart he was gone but ricky been the proud man he is got up on ***** street and floyd been the greatest of all time for me jumped on him like a bad habbit and without a real contact hatton crumbled onto hes back to shatter mine , hes and the whole of englands dream.
like i always said id offer no excuses and ill proudly say floyd mayweather is just that dam good but hatton still gave him the toughest fight of hes career.
hatton will be back but floyd its hard to say. like hatton was last night floyd is small for the true welterwieghts but even tho he outboxes them all theres a few styles in there to hurt him and ultimately shock him. floyd says its been a dream of hid to fight in the uk i say get your ass over here next year because it will be a privilidge to see you fight live
