The ref did Hatton no favors but the best man won. There was a difference in class for sure.

I have to admit, i was rooting for Hatton before the fight. I watched it unfold and at first i felt Cortez wasn't giving Hatton a fair fight but then, after the booze faded and i re-watched it, its clear that Hatton only had one game plan where as PBF had dozens. I didnt like Mayweather before the fight but he won me over with his post fight comments about us Brits and the fact he showed such humility. He's got pretty tip top skills to boot. He is a class fighter and the best man won.

Hatton fans weren't hiding when you posted this thread- at dinner time today. All of BS forumers were sleeping off the hangover they got from staying up till 6/7 in the morning.

No excuses here, Hattomn got beat by the better man. I always said Mayweather would win but I was rooting for Hatton and was disappointed to see him get knocked out like that.

Yes PBF was the better man, on that particular night, with everything going in his favour, including cortez. Its hard to win in another country, PBF knows that and that is why he wouldnt come to ENgland for a vacation.
There is xtra pressure on Hatton when the judge aint doing u favours, and u got the judges to contend with. In London or Manchester, Hattton would not admit PBF was better. PBF would lose. There is a very thin line between victory and defeat. The ref, judge would swing things in Hattons favour.

Naz is too unorthadox for Mayweather to deal with. You cant hit and slip against a fighter of Hamed's calibur. You just cant.

Naz vs Floyd at 130 would have been entertaining to watch, for sure.
