agree with the thread about ricky was winning until the ref ****ed it all up. cheat and tosser spring to mind when i think about the ref in that match but to be honest i think floyd would of got the better of hatton anyway as the rounds went on. He did use that elbow so much and the ref did nothing but floyd is just class and i respect him more now than i ever did. Its clear hatton was winning untill the ref upset hatton's rhythm. I mean how the **** can deducted a point for hitting the rope? wft he hit the rope no his head! Why the hell was meayweather allowed to get away with it? He hit hatton more times around the head than hatton hit him around the back of the head. Mayweather was also cheating by lowering his bead below hatton belt now are you allowed to do that in boxing? NO your not. Mayweather should of been deducted points for thats. It was clear the ref was on the pay role by mayweather. If it wasnt for the constant upsent in Hatton's rhythm he would of won!

Ricky wasn't landing clean, his punches were hitting Floyds shoulder, arms and glove, but Floyd kept hitting Hatton with lovely crisp jabs, 3 in a row at times. Floyd also kept landing by leading with his well disguised right hand cross. Don't let patriotism get in the way of clear thinking bro! Along with my own boxing coaches my heart was with Hatton, but my head said Mayweather all the way! The punch Hatton threw at the back of Mayweathers head didn't connect but he was deducted the point for intent. People can say what they want about the ref, but it wasn't the ref that gave Hatton that left hook that sent him bouncing off the corner then into the canvas! The shot was pure skill and class!

Hatton fought his heart out and did himself proud, but Mayweather is one of the best fighters ever and there's no shame in losing to him.

I think Floyd deserves a lot of credit - he gave Ricky some rough treatment. He boxed wonderfully. But Cortez was shocking - some of those early rounds could of been interesting if he had not jumped in!

Ricky also derserves some credit - christ what a warrior he was - he has a heat like a lion. He took some great shots and kept coming forward. I am proud of him and his will to go for it - sadlyit was just not ment to be!!
