Hatton knew he needed a KO to win so he got reckless and got caught, he could have held and accepted a UD loss, but he went out trying to win, not survive.

good post, people get my intentions confused and think i am ripping in cotto, floyd had good/great power tonight and i basically want to know if people think he has a better chin than hatton, thats it. for the record, i like cotto, i want to see him progress as a fighter.

Well let me reiterate, yes I think Cotto has a better chin at 147lbs than Hatton. I dont think Hatton would've been standing if he was hit by those Judah bombs or by Mosley's shots. His other WW opponent, Collazo, rocked Hatton with less power than those other two mentioned fighters, while Cotto responded very well to both.
