If Floyd Mayweather is the best boxer of the last decade then Joe Calzaghe is the most underated.
I here a lot of people asking the question "How much more does Floyd have to do to silence his critics.
i have been asking the same question about Joe for a long time. When someone is undefeated for 12 years there is a reason for it.
People say often of great fighter. "well he hasn't fought anyone" Thats because they are so damn good that they make their opponents look like nobody.
Ricky Hatton is a World Class fighter, but he didn't look like one tonight, because of floyds superiority.
So now people will say that he proved nothing by beating him. Floyd is so good at what he does that it just seems as though he has not fought anyone great, because he makes them look ordinary. He is too good for his own good.
The same is true for Joe.
You see it over and over again. He can't be that good, it must be that everyone else is crap.
Its hard to start appreciating something that you have never appreciated.
