After all the hoopla and the BS from both fighters, they put on a hell of a fight.
Thank you Ricky for fighting your fight. Yes there were problems (joe cortez stepping in a little earlier) but you fought your heart out. I've been following Ricky for 9 years now and will continue to follow him till he's done. I think tonight proved his fights again Collazo & Urango were poor displays of his true fighting style.
Thank you Floyd. You put up a great fight. Round 8 was a masterpiece. Yes there were problems on your end too (i thought you backed away too much early and the elbow was borderline illegal) Regardless if you fight again or not, you are the best pound for pound boxer on the planet today.
I know the fans will go back and forth, but tonight both Men put up wonderful fights and the better man won.
Of the "Super fights" we've had this year, this is number 2 for me, just after Pavlik Tayor & just ahead of Cotto Mosley/Cotto Judah.
