          Pavlik vs Taylor was fight of the year, but Mayweather was fighter of the year. The guy was the biggest reason boxing was revived in 2007.

                      I feel sorry for whoever has to decide who gets the award, it's definitely between Pavlik and Mayweather. And as big a fan of Pavlik I am, I'd have to say Mayweather gets the edge because even though Miranda was being avoided like the plague when Kelly faced him, he was no Oscar De La Hoya. Taylor is a better boxer than Hatton though, for sure.

                      (And I'm a Hatton fan.)
