Mayweather: "I will not let boxing retire me, I will retire boxing."

He said best. Of course he would fight Cotto and Williams and Citron but he feels it's not his business anymore. They are all high risk with not a big enough paycheck. Me too think Floyd should break from boxing for a big vacations. If any of you is 30 you notice years start to weight in and there is absolutly no shame in retiring as he is. He seems smart enough to do so: "I will not lety boxing retire me. I will retire boxing" Right on brother!

If he takes a long vacation, like 6 months with no boxing, thats fine. nobody would complain.

But if he RETIRES??? that would be flat our rediculous and TERRIBLE for boxing. Absolutely TERRIBLE

There's no replacement for Floyd if he retires.
      Not even anything similar.

      Amir Khan.

I don't think so. He's fought in the biggest fights of the year in consecutive fights and has brought boxing more mainstream with his other appearances. There is no shame walking away with almost as many brain cells as you came in with. People have started to become interested in boxing again and Floyd is a big part of that. He's done wonders for the sport over the past year.

Right now boxing needs Floyd. I know all the prejudice hating must get to him but I hope he takes a break & comes back for at least 1 more.

thats all true, but much of that interest leaves with Mayweather.

He HAS to fight at least 2 more times before its all said and done.

Roger Mayweather agrees, and says that Mayweather should fight 5 more times... Hopefully Roger can convince him to keep fighting

You've got it down to a t, Floyd has won a lot of respect now, that hook was brilliance.
