The bar I was in decided that just as Hatton was going to speak would be the ideal time to start the dj, so could someone tell me what Hatton said?
What did Hatton say during the interview with Merchant?

He was still very witty. The first thing he said was "well that was a fluke".
He then gave Mayweather props and said he was stronger than he thought and a much better inside fighter than he thought.
He then said sorry to the fans and he will be back. -

He also said something about Mayweather's elbows and forearms being fouls.... Then he said "well this isn't a tickling contest."...Comment

Mayweather could not possibly have underestimated Hatton. His performance shows clearly that he must have prepared for this like no other fight.
He was getting better and better as the fight went on and looked like he could have maintained it for fifteen rounds never mind 12.
In previous fights i have seen him in he has looked to get tired at times, but not tonight.
Although i think Floyd would win this fight at any weight after seeing this i don't think Ricky should fight this weight again.
his two worst performances have come in the welterweight division. Floyd can move weights because of his shear speed and defences but when you are a brawler that does not have exceptional punching power you just can't hurt the bigger guys.Comment

Hatton made excuses and lobbed a few allegations actually..
It was all very subtle but the tone of it was ugly and a tad shameful.
Other than that he was respectful.
I had Hatton to win and I enjoy him as a personality but his post fight comments were the second worst thing he's shown aside from the loss.Comment
