Good Lord.
That was brutal.
Floyd looked freaking amazing tonight, I would watch the Mayweather from round 5 - 10 anytime anywhere. Combos, slipping, fighting inside, even showing some heavy hands. Stunning peformance that I honestly didnt think he had in him anymore. Plus he was humble in the post fight, which...if he acted like that full time, he would be the most popular athelete on the planet.
Hatton did what everyone said he would do. He didnt do it as WELL as everyone (including me) said he would. He also got KTFO, which is a much better ending for any fight, and I didnt care who got it in this one.
I was wrong about the outcome, but I was RIGHT about how most of his computer gangster fanbase on here would react to his victory. I am now 3 for 3 on predicting how floyds "Money" gang of nuthuggers would show their class. At least Floyd drops the act after his victories.
That being said....great great fight. The undercards ****** all kinds of balls, and Jose Cortez has my nomination for worst ref on the planet.
He wouldnt let EITHER guy fight. He yelled "STOP STOP STOP" one time before the fighers even managed to GET TO EACH OTHER. A little pre-emptive "stop stop stop" How about letting just 1 punch get landed...heck even THROWN before you break em up Jose. You are better than that Mr. I'll let em fight. You worked harder than the freakin fighters.

No excuses Ricky came to fight but he was outclassed by the best fighter in the world... When Floyd decided to take the fight to him it was over... He holds too much and wrestles... Completely outclassed holding is not punching.Comment
