It's because he never was, he looked like the exact same fighter that fought Calzaghe. Against poor opposition he looked impressive.

they all suck to be honest... manfredo could of had an easy win but he stopped after he got knocked down when he was off balance.. what a shame..

I'm very disappointed with Lacys performance......but I stand by my fighter.Hopefully he was just very rusty , but I would not recommend him fighting Tarver in April....he needs a couple more tune up fights to get back in the swing of things.....he was very slow looking and once again failed to use his jab......which is very good if he would throw the ****er.

I think it would be very irresponcible for Lacy's handlers to put him in with Tarver at the moment. Last night's version of Lacy easily gets murdered by a 'rejuvenated' Antonio Tarver. I just think that this fight is too high risk and could very possibly be, career ending....

I think the best thing right now would be to put Lacy in with some tomato cans and gradually step up the level of competition. He really needs to get back some of his rythmn and confidence...

Lacy was piss poor last night, i thought he was goin to do a demolition job on Manfredo but he looks like a shell of the fighter that he was before JC got his hands on him.
