Can you IMAGINE if if was Floyd who made that comment that Hopkins did?

i wonder what Oscar has to say.

get over it, so floyd may have lost a close fight against castillo, he answered any doubts that he is the better fighter in the second fight.

Because you can change oe affect something doesn't make it a skill.

I can pound chicken breasts for the next two months and up my poundage, and gain 8 pounds of muscle.

        Is size a skill?

When people talk about Pep or Whitaker being the most 'killed" fighters of all time, they clearly aren't talking about their power.

Also, you often see the "power vs skills" matchup discussed.

Or totally ignore that boxing matches are scored round by round, so if Castillo lands 50 punches in round 12, it doesn't effect what happened in rounds 1-11.

I disagree with most aspects of what George is saying but he may have a point about the judges falling for flashy shots.. The public certainly will..

The way I see it, for example, fighters like Pep improve their punching speed by practicing on a speed bag. Fighters like Foreman would improve their power by practicing on the heavy bag. The meaning of skill is something that can be improved... I don't see how one is "skill" and the other is not.

Look at the punchstat numbers round by round. If that is the only thing you look at, Castillo won hands down.
