How do you rate Ricky @ Welterweight

Ok, So he's only had one fight at welterweight and he didn't look so good but do you think he is better than the following welterweights...

    Mosley
    Cotto
    Judah
    Margarito
    Williams
    Berto
    Cintron
    Clottey

I don't rate Ricky as a welterweight. Unless it is to fight Hoya or Cotto I don't think he should stick around at 147 lbs after Mayweather, he'll be at a size disadvantage against most opponents and honestly may not have the drive to cope with it unless the fight is big enough. Oh I think he has a reasonable chance against most of the boxers you mentioned but he won't look good in beating any of them, unless it's a huge stage like it would be with Miguel or Oscar.

My feeling is that he should stop at 140 lbs and beat Paulie at MSG to set up a fight with Cotto at 147 then maybe a big fight with De La Hoya at Wembley and call it a day. If he loses then he should have a few more fights to re-establish himself and then retire. I'd like to see him become the huge personality he's turning into and retire with his marbles intact.

he is not a welter weight and should go back to 40 after this fight! pbf is a small welter, and they could have both easily fought at 140!

I think his next bout will be against De La Hoya whatever the outcome of tomorrow/tonights fight. I would rater see him fight Witter @140 however.

I don't want to see him fight Witter ever. The squeaky wheel gets the grease in general but so far Hatton has ignored Junior's squeaking.

Well, if Hatton ignores Witter, who is the best @140, he is a ducker, right? How can he ignore the best? That's ducking, right?

After seeing how bad Cintron looked on the inside in his last fight, I think Hatton would be very successful smothering him and outworking him up close.
