Here's the reason it'll NEVER take over boxing. Because OF his monopoly on American soil. He keeps his fighters poor (byp poor, I mean compared to other U.S. athletes/boxers), and eventually they'll leave him. And when they get promoted by other companies, they DON'T fight eachother. Eventually fans will get tired of that.

It'll be fine and always have it's cult following, but it'll NEVER eclipse boxing. Ever.

he Keeps all his fighters on contract..... meaning if they lose they still make money however long their contract lasts how is that keeping them poor? maybe keeping them lazy? not poor....in boxing if you lose you lose a **** load of money....

I like UFC but Dana White needs to change his public opinion of boxing and change it fast. His criticisms about top fights not being made are simply untrue and he has to realise that trying to force people to choose between UFC and boxing will ultimately hurt both sports.

Dana White always says boxing and MMA can coexist.

The new story will be when a MMA fighter calls out Hopkins on his white boy statements. Yes it will happen. Wonder what Hopkins will do.
