    No respect for oscar.

ive heard the, "he fights the best argument." my question is how can you be considered a world class professional fighter if you have lost to your five best opponents. whats are his three best wins? he beat vargas and coley. does he have 2 good wins in his entire carreer and he is making 20 mil+ every fight? what am i missing? i know he won a gold medal and is a good boxer, but to lose every big fight except one, c'mon

He gave Mayweather a tough test, OUT of his prime.

He SHOUDL have wins over Mosley and Trinidad. (He lost the first Mosley fight, I mean the second.

He beat Whitaker, Chavez, Paez, Camacho, Leija, Vargas, Mayorga, Gatti, Quartey, Gonzalez, Molina, Ruelas and Hernandez.

That's not too bad. For you to have NO RESPECT, is a bit absurd, to be honest.

i guess i didnt put my topic into context. for being the most popular boxer in the world i dont think he deserves it. yeah he does have a bunch of good wins, but the fact remains that he has lost to his top 5 opponents. just sounds a little crazy to me.

He also doesn't pick and choose his fights at oppurtun times either. He fought anyone and everyone and your gonna lose some fights when you consistantly fight the best competition. may you've never heard of Genaro hernandez(well before Floyd). You'll seem to want to give floyd credit for that win all the time or bring him up when you'll tak resumes, not o mention giving Floyd credit for an old shot gatti(which again Oscar destroyed years before), Rafael Ruelas,oh and maybe you have never heard of Ike Quartey one of the toughest undefeated welters at the time with one of the best jabs I have ever seen, thats just naming a few. Fighting B-Hop moving up to middleweight is better than any name Floyd has on his resume. You never heard Oscar say " I'm not even considering Tito because he isn't well known enough" the way Floyd tried to say about Cotto). You never heard Oscar say this fighter won't make enough money or sell PPV or he's not in my league making excuse for trying to justify not fighting certain fighters. Win or lose Oscar has consistantly fought the best fighters and best competition in the world. Like him or not you can't deny that. Bottom line.

You have a quote that say, "if it don't make dollars it don't make sense"

Understand that it means, sometimes it should be a certain way, but sometimes it's not.

He's just LOVED by A LOT of people. It just happens that way.

so oscar fights anyone and everyone and loses a couple fights while floyd handpicks....

Explain to me what the difference is except that Oscar deserves the money he makes because he has done a lot for the sport and put on great shows.

because not all people are bandwagon fans of anyone who wins.

people can keep beating that fight to the ground but the fact is,had he not run vs trinidad he would have won,he ran.the same could be argued for the sturm fight and the quartey fight[even if quartey was knocked down twice,he still was winning most of the rounds].he's lost gifts and won gifts.end of story.if he cared anything about his legacy he would have given into tito and don king's demands[which i'm pretty sure was the tables turned on the negotiation's aspect of it] and beaten trinidad,he didn't.there is no reason to defend this guy.

No reason to condemn him either.
