Ricky Hatton may be preparing for the biggest fight of his life and indeed the last decade, but he has still has time for his fans.
We asked you to mail in your questions to the Hitman and even though he is just days away from facing the best pound-for-pound fighter on the planet, he took time out from his tuning up to tackle them.
They might not have been the hardest test Ricky will face this week, or indeed ever, but the 10 questions we hope, will tell you a little bit more about the man outside the ring.
Here are the questions we put to Ricky, from YOU...
Round One - City or Ricky?
If you had to choose between City to win this year's Premiership or Ricky Hatton to become the best pound-for-pound fighter on the planet, which would it be? Good luck on the 8th December! John Parker, Lancaster
RICKY SAYS: Blimey, that's a tough question to start with! City are going great under Sven, but I think I would have to go for me becoming pound-for-pound the best fighter on the planet! Definitely.
Round Two - Robin reliable
Hi Ricky. I live in Kent and recently met the guy who sold you the Del Boy motor. He told me he was one of the only men to scare the Hitman! He said he took you for a spin in the three-wheeler when he delivered it and you were clinging to the door handle for dear life! Is this true? All the best Mr Blue Moon. Phil, Dartford
RICKY SAYS: You're right, I did get the van off a guy from the Only Fools and Horses Appreciation Society! I remember the drive you're talking about, but I wouldn't say it was the scariest experience of my life. But it was a hairy ride!
Round Three - Getting in tune
Hi Ricky, I just wondering what music tracks you will be listening to before you go into the ring? Rob Howson
RICKY SAYS: At last an easy one! That would be the same as I do for every fight Rob Oasis (who you all know I love) and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They get me in the mood.
Round Four - The Fantastic Four
Hi Ricky, I've watched you for many years and know you idolise Roberto Duran and they say that different styles make fights. If you could alter time and go back to that generation (Duran, Leonard, Hagler, Hearns), who from these fighters do think you could have beaten with your style? And who do you think would have caused you the most problems? Best of uck on the night. Glasgow will be cheering you on! John Hyland
RICKY SAYS: Those are all absolute legends you have listed John. It's hard to imagine being in a ring with any of them, so all I can say is they would have made great fights. All four of em!
Round Five - Talking tactics
Hi Ricky, are you going into the ring with a plan B if your tactics don't work straight away? Also, this is a chance of a lifetime to become the world's pound-for-pound number one boxer on the planet - do you think your defence is going to have to be as good as your attack to achieve this? Jon Williams, Taunton
RICKY SAYS: I am not going to give away anything in case Mayweather is reading! All I will say is I have a gameplan and I can adapt. It sounds obvious to say, but as always, I will need a good defence as well as a good attack.
Round Six - Early or late finish
Hi Ricky. If you had the choice would you prefer to pummel Mayweather for a few rounds knowing you would win at the end of it or knock Mayweather down within the first minute of the first round? Darryl Ness
RICKY SAYS: I've got to say I would be happy with a knockout in any round Darryl, from the first to the last. It doesn't matter to me, as long as it's my hand held aloft at the end of the night.
Round Seven - Nice one my son
If you had to make a choice, would you like your son to wear the blue of Man City and scoring the winner in the Champions League final, or be a world-class boxer like yourself, which would you choose and why? Also do you let your son watch you when you're boxing? Lisa Foster, Prestwich, Manchester
RICKY SAYS: I would like to think that whatever Campbell wanted to do I would support him so the choice would be his. No, he does not watch the fights live but I do show him the replay at home afterwards.
