    Will size matter?

Does anybody know what the size of the Ring will be for the Floyd vs Ricky fight?

I wish this was being fought at the Blue Horizon, no place to run there. Great sluggers ring and would be to Ricky's Advantage.

ring size isnt going to matter. he has no reason to run from the much smaller hatton. this is probably the first time floyd has all the advantages and look for him to use them all.

who ever thinks that size doesn't matter......spend TWO days in N.Y.'s SING SING State Prison. That will have you change that frame of mind....REAL QUICK! think you could keep a 300lb, 7 foot GORILLA off you???

Ok, then try being out in a war zone and your weapon jams. you better know some hand-to-hand combat...cause these guys are coming to slice your jugger vein!!

Well Floyd was even at more of a disadvantage against Oscar and the small ring didnt help him. Dont worry though, the ring wont matter because of Hatton's style. I said the whole time that it was Oscar's fault that the fight wasnt excting. He was the much bigger man and didnt force the fight at all. Hatton is different. They could fight in a huge ring and Hatton would force Floyd into fighting because his style is to pressure you and he has the speed and fericious style to do it. He'll definatly make the fight no matter what size of the ring it is. The question is will it work and I dont think it will? I think Floyd could still beat him toe to toe when they do it

In Vegas, with the heavyweight gloves they'll have to wear, in a big ring. 5'6" Ricky with his 20" reach is going to have his hands full trying to chase down Floyd and a harder time hurting him when he finally does catch him.

i think smaller ring is advantagious for hatton.
dlh isnt a pressure fighter. hattons a master on the inside. and cortez's MO is he stays out of the way and lets'm battle on the inside.
hatton has great footwork and hopefully will take floyd off his gameplan.
