Floyd doesn't run away. He controls the tempo of the fight. Sure, I'd like to see him in some more exchanges...

He's a defensive minded fighter, who tries to avoid exchanges, all the while, focusing on capitalizing off of his opponents mistakes. I wouldnt call him a runner, but wouldnt say he's an engager either.

Floyd is a ring general. Hence, the term "ring generalship" which is accounted for on the score cards.

He's proven himself with his style of fighting how great he is.

His footwork mastery is a testament to his success and undefeated record.

A real runner displays a lack of confidence in his own skills and should not be in a ring until he is adept at both offense and defense.

It's been discussed ad naseum, but maybe it bares repeating.

I'm not sure how a runner outlands every opponent he has ever had, except for Castillo in their first fight.

With Floyd its called Ring Generalmanship. Controling the fight with good movement, fighting when you want to and in general controling it all. With his hand speed and his movement hes a tough cat to skin.

With boxing you must remember, its not just two guys standing there busting eachother in the face. Its the sweet science and some just do it sweeter than others.................Rockin'
