Floyd only just beat an over the hill badly gassing Oscar. was only a few rounds in it !

Floyd would have beaten by a prime Oscar so why is it so hard for people to believe Hatton can beat Floyd ?

well, he beat him 10 lbs lighter and floyd is just as big as hatton for one.

floyd beat a future hall of famer and he was basically jr welterweight for the fight and oscar was a welter. that's not saying much is it? dont give him any credit for that.....

to be fair to mayweather it was a in a weight class way above what he should be at, it could of been a different story at a lower weight.

I think even an older Oscar had a way better chance of beating Mayweather than Hatton does.

From another Post about compubox (quote) , you want to know what it means in plain english , Floyd is very efficient !! , he doesnt waste anything and is very accurate , if you think he just beat Oscar you need to look at the fight again with pause , rewind and slo mo and you will see what the judges didnt see , that Floyd won in cruise control , he slipped so many punches by 1/2 an inch and made Oscar pay it was a joke , and he gave him a stone in weight while he did it , Floyd hasnt fought a man as small as Ricky for a long time ,small meaning height and reach , he will appreciate that size difference this time around , , while people think Hatton is just going to bulldoze through him and Floyd will fold , we will see I think a lot will be surprised just how strong Floyd is .

Those who argue that Mayweather is boxing’s best all-around fighter point to his dominance over his opposition. Few fighters have ever been as statistically superior to his opponents than Mayweather, who rarely loses rounds, much less fights. A recent CompuBox analysis determined that the “Pretty Boy” leads the sport in “plus-minus” rating – and not by a little. The “plus-minus” is the difference between a fighter’s average connect percentage and that of his opponents, and Mayweather’s plus-30 (46 percent to 16 percent) is seven percentage points ahead of his closest competition, Juan Diaz, who owns a plus-23.

Mayweather’s rating compares favorably to the prime Roy Jones (plus-23) and Pernell Whitaker (plus-16). For the record, Hatton’s rating is a plus-five (34 percent to 29 percent), which is tied for 16th with Jones, Bernard Hopkins, Joe Calzaghe and Juan Manuel Marquez.

Because, if De La Hoya in his prime could beat Mayweather, that's one thing. You must be forgetting that a prime De La Hoya knocks Ricky Hattons fooking block off.

              Two different fighters/cases.

Primes DLH, Mosley, Whitaker, Duran, Chavez, Pryor, Arguello, Camacho among others could beat him at 135. The list at 147 is MUCH longer.
