    Hopkins Dissing Mayweather

Check this out.First he picks hatton. Then he disses his training which is undertandable cause of dancing with the stars. But what upset me was him agreeing with Bob Arum about Mayweather being a thug.Did mayweather ever go to jail like Hopkins? Then decides to say Floyd disrespects his opponents and the sport.Him himself admits to play around with his opponents before the fight. But didn't he stop on the puerto rican flag when he fought Tito? What's more disrespectfull then that.I always been a fan of his,but lost some respect fom him, he needs to look in the mirror before he opens his mouth

p.s. this was in a local show in Phoenix "gambo and ash"

Hopkins is not really rooting for Hatton, he's just kissing Oscar's ass again, wasn't Hopkins one of the idiots who thought Delahoya won his fight against Floyd.

Sir Hopkins stand up and be a real man for once and I don't mean by kicking my French ass.

Hopkins is just selling the fight. Calling him a thug plays into the "two opposites in the ring" tagline, and claiming he's disrespectful, does the same thing. Picking him to win, lets people think he has a legitamite chance, 'cause a legend thinks he does.

Hopkins is a businessman. He has to act like one.

Hopkins is not a businessman, he's a business pawn. Anyway, he's so gay for trying to ride on Floyd. He started a scuffle and was fined just a few months ago against Wink. How many times has that happened to Pretty Thug Mayweather?

Mayweather provokes every opponent. That's probably worse.

NO. Verbal provocation is still controlled and not physical. Physically attacking someone outside of the ring is worse. Regardless of how one feels about Mayweather, he has stuck to TALKING, not pushing and shoving, as Hopkins has before. Let's call a duck a duck. Hopkins has NO RIGHT to open his mouth againt someone who no matter how much he has talked, has never started an altercation outside of the ring with an opponent.

I think you're thinking of this as a ethical issue. I mean, morally. Ethically, Mayweather has done nothing TRULY wrong. Morally though, I'd believe he seserves to be slapped in his ****ing loud mouth. Call a duck a duck. But wouldn't a duck be the most well-equipped in pointing out another duck?

Honestly, you shouldn't defend a guy like Mayweather in terms of the way he acts. He's an *******, as far as perception. I don't care about the money he gives to charities, I'm talking about the way it looks. Hopkins went to jail, yes. Stomped the Puerto Rican flag, yes. Shoved Winky, yes.

I think getting in someones face and trying to get them to hit you, if not as bad, is just as ******.

Look at it like this, Mayweather would provoke a guy like Hopkins, Hopkins would punk a guy like Mayweather.

                That's life.

So, because you do not like Mayweather, Hopkins makes sense with his statements?

This is boxing, not a ballet recital. The guise that fighters are at odds with one another makes certainly for a more anticipated fight.

I am not referencing anything with the exception of Hopkins feeling he is in a position to make such statements, when his behaviors have been worse. Regardless if how dumb either of their behaviors have been, his has crossed from verbal to physical, and that does mean something.

Either way, this is my opinion. As with anything in life, everyone's entitled to one.

I do like Mayweather. I was talking about his public persona. I'm betting on Mayweather, I picked Mayweather. It is what it is, though.
