Hatton has a better chance than Cotto of beating Mayweather

I think the Mayweather Cotto fight if it happened would be onesided in favour of Floyd, styles make fights and I think Cotto is an easier fight.

Although people are not giving that much of a chance to Hatton, I think if it would be between him and Cotto I would definately pick Hatton.

    Cotto would beat Hatton
    Hatton CAN beat Mayweather
But I dont see Cotto beating Mayweather

I share the same feeling as Hatton is busier, has better footwork and head movement and is just all around quicker than Cotto. Cotto is merely stronger and has a better Jab, which means nothing to Floyd. Hatton applies nonstop pressure, unlike Cotto who "ran" in the last 4 rounds against Mosley.

Cotto is a big guy. He would walk through anything Floyd threw and just systematically break him down. Atleast, in my opinion.

Its all because of Hatton's workrate, he averages 740 punches per fight, and the Rough Tactics.

Hatton also throws from different angles.

Cotto couldn't even "walk through" a 36 year old Shane Mosley. The guy may act like one, but he is definitely not a robot.

After seeing Cotto break the fighters he did and outmanouvre a smart fighter like Mosley I don't see Mayweather having a chance against Cotto, unless he sticks and runs around the ring. Mosley was just as fast as Mayweather and tried every trick he knew (which are a lot!), he made it close, but he didn't win. Cotto would be the hardest puncher Mayweather ever faced, he'd be the most systematic fighter Mayweather ever faced and he'd simply beat his ass up until he folds.

I believe Hatton is the harder fight also but PBF should just take out Cotto anyway so he can have that name on his record.

Yea, that's what I'm saying. He's a busy bee, Cotto is a slow stalker in comparison. I see Mayweather picking Cotto off all night long, I really don't see that fight being as close as most people.
