    Golden Opportunity

With The Golden Boys evident "take over" (impact) over the boxing circuit' could he some how manage to taint/ influence the outcome of Hatton/Mayweather. Die-hard boxing fans understand Oscars agenda. He Knows that he is one of the "Most likeable figure" in the sport bar none. He has publicly expressed his interests in a bout with Hatton. As we know they are currently in negotiations with team Hatton of a matchup in the first quarter of 2008. Do we misinterpret or do convieniently deny the "Power" that Oscar De la Hoya commands in the boxing industry. Are we foolish enough to believe that The most recent Cassamayor "victory" had nothing to do with his influence. Should Saturdays matchup go to the judges in a close and competetive contest, trust that Ricky Hatton will come out the victor. Wembley Stadium in England, holds 80,000 seats, it would an "honor" for De La Hoya to get this opportunity. DeLa Hoya would rather take CENTER STAGE than Hold the doors open for Mayweather.

The point of the thread "DE LA HOYAS INFLUENCE" and DLH's agenda. And Majority of the boxing fans well-wishers and Haters alike counted Hatton out.

If De La Hoya's Infulence couldnt win him.. HIS OWN fight... Then perhaps GBP has much less power in these matters(fight fixing) than you think...

          +1

Yea , I mean I think DLH has done a great job with Golden Boy and the reason I say this is because I know the type of influence King and Arum have had for so long.

I'm not saying that DLH hasn't had his moments of dirty dealings but in order to deal with these scumb bags like Arum and King you better be willing to get your hands dirty.

Overall, I think DLH wants to put the best fights out there and since Golden Boy he's put out some fights we would have nopt normaly seen so quickly or if ever at all.

There will be no need for judges in this fight, Mayweathers heart will have been stretched to breaking point by 8 and by 10 he will have started crying and given up.

More of a reason for Mayweather to beat the crap out of Hatton if you ask me. He should definitely not be complacent with a ODH type of performance, he needs to try and win decisively.

Same goes for Hatton. If it is a real close fight and the decision goes to Mayweather, I can only imagine how the crowd would react!

I have been saying this. He has to WIN and with no room for contest. He knows everyone wants to see him fail. That's what fuels the machine that is "Money Mayweather". LOL.

Is that his new boxing name, too?
