    New World Order

All this talk about this being a great year for british boxing, i DISagree.

If all the results go there way (I HOPE NOT) this will be the greatest year for any boxing nation of all time. I cant recall (in modern history) any american, mexican or rican domination on this scale.

    RECENT (2007) INVOLVING BRITISH FIGHTERS

ricky hatton beat jose luis castillo/ WBC , IBO /june 23

enzo Maccarinelli beat Wayne Braithwaite/ WBO/ july 21

gavin rees beat Souleymane M'baye/ WBA/ july 21

alex arthur beat Koba Gogoladze/ WBO/ july 21

Junior witter beat vivian harris/ WBC lightweight championship/ sep 9

clinton woods beat Julio Cesar Gonzalez/IBF championship/ 29 sep

    david haye beat Jean-Marc Mormeck/ undisputed cruiserweight/ nov 10

joe calzaghe beat mikkel kessler / undisputed s. middleweight / nov 3

    UPCOMING FIGHTS INVOLVING BRITISH FIGHTERS

    ricky hatton v floyd mayweather/ WBC/ dec 8

    wayne el**** v arthur abraham/ IBF/ dec 8

    ALSO

    amir khan v graham earl/ commonwealth championship/ dec 8

    danny williams v oleg platov/ IBF intercontinental/ dec 8

    ALSO

Frankie gavin wins gold at world champions, 4 boxers (likely to be 7 or 8) qualified for next years olympics. uk up their with russia and cuba in terms of boxers qualiied.

please discuss, has there ever been a better year for any boxing nation ever?
