He should thank Rudy Perez for that!(Barrera former long time trainer) And to think that was the FIRST time Vazquez has ever worked with Perez. He is still learning and even made mistake in the rematch.....I'm sure Rudy will get Vazquez in top shape again and help make the necessary changes.


Rudy Perez will also train Martin Castillo with his fight against Jorge Arce.

Call it even. Izzy made some adjustments in fight two using his jab more, but Rafa also changed his style to more slug it out with Izzy which probably cost him, and the stoppage in fight 2 was somewhat quick imo.

ALL he did wrong was get too mexican for his own good, which made for a terrific fight.

just circle to the left to stay away from izzy's left-hook and he's all good, keep that jab in his face, bust that nose and make it another show like in the first one.

rafa'll come out on top in this trilogy.
