No disrespect but I've seen it all before. Once is enough for me, it's the same old choreographed mitt work and while fast is not that impressive.

first off he is using 2 pound gloves, second, he doesnt want to accidently hurt his hands before the big fight. FLoyd never hits hard in training, he has to protect his hands. You'll see power come fight night but floyd has never trained with power.

exactly. floyd trains more or less to get his accuracy, reflexes, and punches sharp, not to use real power. great fighters really don't have to train like madmen in training, they just tone up their attributes for their fights. floyd never hits the pads really hard, and he wears 16oz goves to give his punches more pop in the fight. he punches the punching bag 2,000 to upwards of 5,000 times when he trains, but he fights at a controlled pace. and, his punch output isn't as high as you would think it would be, which is why he is so methodical in the ring, and this is why i put the word methodical in many of my posts, because he trains so much, but when it comes to the actual fight, he fights smart and doesn't expend a lot of energy, in fact, he uses his opponent's energy to beat them.
